Halo 1 PC Patch No CD Official removes disk check v1.08 and v1.09

EDIT: I have uploaded the latest v1.0.9 TRUE PATCH from Bungie.net here. The file is available for DIRECT DOWNLOAD. Fixed the link so thanks for comments who pointed it out.

If you have been trying to look for the Halo PC latest update and patch, I have found it after much googling and clicking on fake links. The bungie.net and microsoft website actually have no link. The only place to get the download was the bungie.net forum and it wasn't easy to find it. So I have downloaded it once and uploaded it where others can Find it easily.

I found the REAL file through the bungie.net forum post deep within a very accurate google search. Wasted a good 30 minutes.

You can Download Microsoft Halo Latest Patch 1.09 no CD [official] here. After installing this patch you wont need to load the CD to play.

Once this patch is installed it will update once again on first run. So you latest patch version should be 1.09

I hope people looking for the patch can find it. This is the real version not some crack hack. Downloaded from bungie.net forum posted by the Moderators. So its good. If someone found this and liked it, pls comment.

[update] I have fixed the broken downlaod link. The sites keep going down so I uploaded it to file share. Remeber you should be downloading the Halo PC no CD patch version 1.08 and then you need to update online again for the 1.09 patch. It is automatic after you install the v1.08 patch. Just start the game and it will download the latest patch. Have fun

This will work in Windows 7. I have tried it.

Many sites are posting trojan infected files. I think they get paid for these kind of infected files. Please download from my link. Its the real deal and you can scan it any number of times with any software. No problems. I am using it. this is my XFIRE ID : evangelizer if you any problems.

Update: Jan 2012 : The download site started to ask for surveys. Note I uploaded this years ago when survey was optional. I have since uploaded the latest version directly here. I have also seen some files circulating on the internet that are fake (possibly infected with trojan). I suggest you scan the file, even this one, just to be safe. The file is directly for version v1.09 so it won't need any updating unlike the v1.08

If you love Halo PC still don't forget to get the Custom Edition. I will be uploading a copy here soon since the main site was really slow.

Will this work in Windows 7?
There is another method to install software i.e. using safe mode. Just press the F8 key when you start your windows. You can also copy the CD to your hard disc and can run the install from set up. Try to run the install from your hard drive in safe mode and see if things work.

If you are still getting the problem to install software then you can just check the manufacturer details on the CD or can visit to the manufacturer’s site. Just get in touch with them over phone or can mail them at their e-mail address.

If you have just downloaded software from the manufacturer’s site then you can visit the site and ask for the trouble shooting. Some good manufacturing sites have message board where you can post your complaints and you will get the answer instantly by the experts.
Nowadays, one can see the number of pornographic, betting, gift offering websites cropping up. The people who have a PC at their places are a worried lot. When I uploaded the file there wasn't such a thing. However you could share the file using the social option and that should unlock it. Unfortunately I am locked out as well without the survey and will have to download it , in order to re upload it. It's the only good file I know of. I will try to correct this soon and put a direct link for the Halo Patch.

I have not only fixed the link to be direct download I have also uploaded the latest version of the patch. This updates all from 1.0 through 1.8 to 1.9. Again this is the official file as is. Untouched and clean.
